Researching family history in Ireland
A lot of people get frustrated with Irish research because of a lack of computerised and online records. This is when our experience can save you a lot of money. If you give us the information you have on your Irish ancestor, using the free assessment form, we will tell you what records are available and how much it would cost to search.
If the records are not there, we can't invent them, but if they are available, whatever the format, we will find and transcribe them, and send jpeg copies of originals when possible (with permission of archives holder).
There is a lot of general information out there on what types of records cover what period, civil registration after 1864, parish records before 1864 for most parishes, ...etc... We do not propose to waste time and webspace duplicating the information already available elsewhere.
